Alessandro was born and raised in the northeast of Italy. Modelling hasn't dragged him enough to grab a camera and start shooting but led him to leave his hometown at an early age and has taken him around Europe, Asia and North America and had opened his eyes to the world and many cultures. He has a great interest in experiencing the last surviving details of ethnic cultures before they get totally taken by the modern world.
He travelled and worked as freelance camera operator and editor in China since 2008 doing reportage of adventure travel projects, corporate projects, time lapse photography projects and assisted for the realisation of video installations at the Italian Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo 2010. He also worked as zone camera operator for the AMAZING RACE: China Rush II broadcasted on ICS, Dragon TV and CCTV-9 international.
From his photography and video-making experience he combines his passion for traveling by bicycle. In 2014, after living in China for eight years and after his first trips to India and South East Asia he decided to solo travel through the "Silk Road" from Shanghai to Venice. From here the project "Torna a Casa Marco Polo" (Marco Polo the Way Back Home): more than 16.000 km on his bicycle crossing seventeen countries over a one year trip documenting with photos and videos his adventure and realising the documentary "Don't Forget to Smile" which was screened at several film festivals and won the "Bike Shorts FIAB Prize at Siciliambiente 2017".
Beside photography e filmmaking Alessandro has been in love with music his whole life and joined the entertainment scene in 2008 while he was modelling in Shanghai. Intrigued with spinning records and making crowds of people dance he taught himself how to blend and mix tracks. From listening to radio shows and numerous dj mixtapes, he further mastered his craft and naturally embraced the culture and started djing.
Between a dj set and a photography/film trip here and there he is currently based in Italy.
